When You Sell Gold, You Gain
Earlier this week, we discussed how you should not let pride get in the way when it comes to selling gold when it has little sentimental value. The monetary reward that you receive when you exchange money for gold is well worth the lingering doubts about parting with it.
Two recent news stories have popped up that deal with people having to search for their valuable gold. Both deal with men who misplaced their wedding rings. Surely women lose their wedding rings too, but a lot of the stories that make the news talk about man losing this valuable piece of jewelry.
One man somehow managed to lose his wedding ring as he excitedly clapped at a football game. Amazingly enough, this man was not left bereft for very long: a jeweler in his area provided him with a new wedding band. We’re not sure what prompted such a gift of a precious commodity like gold jewelry, but we imagine that the man in question and his wife were very happy.
For those of you hoping to "lose" a wedding ring in the hopes of benefitting from the generosity of a sympathetic jeweler, surely there is another way. You don't need to lose jewelry; you need to find some. Somewhere in your house there is some old gold jewelry that has fallen out of use (hopefully not a wedding band, though). You can take that gold jewelry and sell it to a gold buyer. That way, you will not have to lose anything. Instead you will gain cash for gold.
